Family walk on Christmas Day

Even though it was cold and damp in Little Rock, we dragged the kids out for a walk down by the river.  Actually, there were quite a few people out walking or bike riding.  It was a pretty bleak day though

Christmas 2017

We went to Little Rock for Christmas this year.   Ben loves to sit with us and chat

We played a lot of games-including this little bowling game that Sam got from work this year.  It took longer to set up than to play it!!!!  We also played our usual Jenga.  No time for Monopoly though...

Maggie handed out all the presents on Christmas morning.  She was the most excited this year

We had tamales for dinner, I made them.  Milly and Rich made chili and cheese dip.  It was quite a feast

First snowfall of the Winter 2017

We had some snow fall right before Christmas this year.  It wasn't much, but Winter has definitely arrived

Garden Glow 2017

This is the 5th year of the Garden Glow and we have been every year.  There is always something new to see, but some things are the same every year.  They always have these in the fountain when you walk in

We went into the house this year.  We don't usually do it, but we had Sam with us and he hadn't been in before.  The Christmas decorations were lovely, I particularly liked the fireplaces

I think I like the lit trees more than the Christmas lights
