Photos from the train....

I took a bunch of photos when we were on the train going to Chicago this past weekend.  I think the best one is this-I took it as we were going over the bridge into East St. Louis on Friday morning. It's a barge ploughing its way through the ice on the Mississippi

There was snow and ice everywhere that we stopped.  The amount of the ice on the track at Union Station was a little troubling, made me wonder how the trains stay on the rails!!!!

This was Springfield on the way back-still snowing, still icy

Then, when we got back to St. Louis, it was a pretty nice day and not any ice on the river!!!!!
