My first rip.....

When I picked up Ben from gymnastics last night, he was proudly displaying what he termed "my first rip". OK, I know what he's referring to since I have seen the "wall of fame" at the gym where the kids are proudly showing off their horrendous skin rips on their hands. Apparently, they were told they couldn't use any more chalk when they were doing the high bars & he tore his skin when he was turning. For some reason, gymnastics turns these kids from wimpy whiners into hard core athletes that proudly show off their injuries!!!! Here he is hamming up his consternation just for Mum.....

He spent ages trying to figure out how he was going to write at school today. Ironically, I had signed him up for a make-up class on Saturday!!!!
