Ben and I are in D.C. for a few days. I have a meeting starting tomorrow and so Ben tagged along since he had a flight voucher he could use. We used Uber for the first time to get us from the airport to the hotel-I can see why people use it!!! It was so easy, comfortable and convenient. Here is Ben outside the airport waiting for the car
We are staying way out in Rockville for the meeting, so we ate some lunch near the hotel and then went into D.C. for a while. It was quite an adventure because some of the Metro stations were closed for maintenance so we had to get buses around them. It took us over an hour to get into D.C., so was pretty late by the time we got there. We did have chance to wander around a little bit. We walked past the Treasury Department on the way to the White House.
