Ben's allergy testing

After months of Ben struggling with allergy symptoms and me taking him to see various people, we finally went to see an allergy doctor yesterday.  Not sure if it's a requirement to wear odd shoes......
They did allergy testing on his back.  It's clear he's more allergic to something on the top rather than the bottom.  This is what his back looked like after about 5 minutes
The allergens in panel 1 gave the most spectacular reaction and after 20 minutes, there were several that were clearly positive.  As I suspected, he's primarily allergic to cats.  He's also allergic to grass pollen (he said "good, I can't mow the grass") and oak pollen.
The doctor wants him to take Singulair and Zyrtec daily for 6 weeks and see if it helps him.  If not, we will try doing the allergy shots to see if that helps.  She did not recommend getting rid of our cats because there are so many around and she said he would come in contact with people that have cats anyway.  That would have been a hard decision to make and I think he loves them more than the rest of us do....
