Getting Maggie out the door.....

Maggie went to church with Jan and Julie this morning.  I woke her up and she came downstairs and ate breakfast.  She had no socks on so I said "You'll need socks, it's cold outside".  She goes upstairs with socks on and a T shirt.  Me:  "You'll need a coat, it's cold this morning".  Maggie:  "I know".  Just a ruse because she went back upstairs to get a jacket.
Me:  Did you flush the toilet?
Maggie:  Yes (not exactly true, since she hadn't)
Me:  Did you pick up your clothes and put in the laundry room?
Maggie:  Yes (see picture on left)
I think we have a communication problem because clearly what I think as "no", Maggie thinks as "yes"
Side note-obviously she did not take her shoes off in the mud room.  She can't deny who left mud on the carpet!!!!
