I am always looking for flowers that will last a decent amount of time so that I can have some in the house, but not spend a fortune on them. I keep coming back to alstromeria. You can buy them at Sam's Club for a reasonable price and they last for at least 2 weeks before they start to fade. Recently, I have found that the white ones do the best, they open in a couple of days and look spectacular.
